Alan
Leela
Co-Founder & Partner
Alan is a seasoned real estate investor and finance executive with nearly 15 years of investing and development experience. Alan is responsible for the oversight and management of all business areas at Vantage with a focus on corporate strategy, land acquisitions, capital raising and investor relations. Prior to co-founding Vantage, Alan held senior positions at notable development and real estate private equity firms. Alan spent 10 years at Tricon Residential leading the investment function for the Canadian purpose-built rental platform, a business division he helped launch in 2014. Alan started his career in the investment banking division of Credit Suisse, working in the Los Angeles and Toronto offices.
Alan holds an Honors Business Administration degree with Distinction from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Shamil Jiwani
Co-Founder & Partner
Shamil is an entrepreneurially minded real estate executive with a passion for solving complex problems through innovation and collaboration. Drawing on a decade of experience, Shamil is responsible for the oversight and management of all business areas at Vantage with a focus on ensuring executional excellence across the project lifecycle from acquisition to project completion. Prior to co-founding Vantage, Shamil played a pivotal role in launching Emblem Developments where during his tenure, the firm grew to over 3,600 units representing $3.5 billion in development value. Shamil’s experience also includes working in the investment banking division of BMO Capital Markets.
Shamil holds an Honors Business Administration degree with Distinction from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Sukaiyna Habib
Associate, Marketing & Communications
Sukaiyna is a skilled marketing communications professional with a passion for creating impactful brand stories within the real estate development industry. Project Accountant

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing) and a College Diploma in Accounting from Seneca Polytechnic. Jeneth is proficient in accounting software like QuickBooks, helping to streamline processes and ensure financial accuracy. She tracks expenses, maintains compliance, and provides insights into project profitability, supporting both financial health and strategic growth. Her dedication to financial integrity and cross-functional collaboration helps deliver high-value projects on time, benefiting investors, homeowners, and communities.
